put text

Type

command

Summary

Write the (unicode) text string to stdout.

Syntax

put [ unicode ] <text>

Description

Use the put text command to write the (unicode) string to stdout.

When converting, any characters that are encountered which are not representable in the output text encoding are output as '?'.

In both cases, the internal line ending character 'LF' is transformed on output to match the setting of the outputLineEndings property.

Parameters

NameTypeDescription
